When someone mentions colourpop the first emoji I would use would the the heart eyed face. I mean seriously how can someone lust over a brand so much? I now have the answer to that question of mine and it’s all thanks to Hannah! Thanks to me reading Hannah’s post about getting colourpop over here in the UK I successfully made my first colourpop order and I am here today to show you what I brought for all under £25!
I’ve been shopping again! Shock! My mum’s been pretty ill lately so I thought I would cheer her up wit a few lush goodies as well as picking myself up some items. I was greeted by a lovely man in lush who told me I was pretty good at smelling as I was picking out the notes of each bath bomb perfectly! I even got a high five! Just for the record I just want to say that the staff in Lush Sheffield are absolutely lovely and their customer service is impeccable!
I picked up a fair few things when in Lush just the other day and I will be totally honest I’ve never used anything bathy other than a bath bomb from lush, I haven’t been a user of bubble bars or anything like that so I did go a little crazy!
First up is the Avobath Bath Bomb, this has got to be one of my favourite bath bombs other than the sex bomb. This is a gorgeous green colour and it smells so good! It smells of lemon and the ingredients of this is amazing. It has lemongrass oil which acts as an antiseptic, it also has avocado (obviously) which hydrates and nourishes, organic extra virgin olive oil which moisturises and protects and also bergamot oil which cleanses. This is pretty much a spa experience while in your own bath!
Next up is The Comforter Bubble Bar (pictures 4-6 in sideshow), first thing is first I was advised not to stick the whole thing in the bath as I would flood my house with bubbles, Noted! This smells of raspberry jam which smells delightful! The Comforter Bubble Bar contains bergamot oil for uplifting and cleansing, Cassis Absolute for comforting and fruity smell and Cypress Oil for calming and toning. Best of all these are all natural ingredients. I can get 3-4 baths out of this depending on how much I crumble under the tap. It smells divine and leaves the bath water a beautiful pink colour!
Next up is The Floating Flower Bath Bomb (pictures 7-8 in sideshow). I love the look of this, it’s so pretty. This bath bomb has a musky smell to it, which I actually quite like although some may be put off by it. It contains Jasmine Absolute for floral and seductive tones, Ylang Ylang Oil for sweet, floral and heady tones and Cypress Oil for calming and toning. I can’t quite put my finger on what this smells like.
Next Up is the Lonely Hearts Bubble Bar (pictures 9-10 in sideshow) is is in the valentines range which is super cute, it’s also covered in glitter. I kid you not I walked out of the lush store with glittery gold hands. The stuff just wouldn’t come off! This has one of my favourite fragrances ever. It’s zesty to smell which I love! It contains Lemongrass Oil, Bergamot Oil, Rose Absolute and it also contains cornflower. I am told that cornflower will keep your skin soft which I didn’t know before doing m research!
Last up is Sakura Bath Bomb, This is such a gorgeous bath bomv just look at those colours. White bath bomb with speckled pink and blue throughout! I absolutely love the look of this and this is one I have never used so I am very intrigued. To smell the bath bomb out of water it doesn’t have a fragrance that over powers the others. It does contain Orange Flower Absolute, Mimosa Absolute, Jasmine Absolute and Lemon Oil. When popped into the bath it releases all the floral notes which obviously come from the Jasmine, Lemon, Orange and Mimosa. It’s so nice to relax in the tub surrounded by this.
As you can see I really like the look of the Sakura Bath Bomb and just couldn’t decide on one photo!
Do tell me what you pick up when your next in lush!
I’m a shop-a-holic, I’ll admit it, I’m not ashamed of it either.
This past week I have spent a lot on Beauty Items! I must keep Debenhams and Boots in business with the amount of times I end up purchasing from there. Where do I start…
Boots… Did you know boots now has a twitter account? I was excited too! I must shop in boots at least once a week… I spend a lot of money there which is handy for the advantage card! The points soon mount up! I popped into boots because I was running low on Anti-Perspirant. So I picked up two cans of Sure… £3.39 for one or two for £4. It’s obvious which one you should choose! One thing that’s for sure you can never have too much Anti-Perspirant, I always carry one in my handbag, I have two at home, two at the boyfriends and then a back up for my hand-bag. Obsessed.
Then I ended up casually heading towards the beauty section. Before I knew i was stood in-front of the Sleek Make-up section. 3 for 2 on all cosmetics, beauty accessories, No7 Cosmetics, Professional Haircare and Self-Tan. I took Advantage of this offer as I was lusting over a few palettes from sleek for a while now. I ended up buying:
1. Sleek Blush by 3 in Pink Lemonade
2. Sleek Face Form in Fair
3. Sleek Corrector and Concealer Palette in 02
4. Sleek Rose Gold Blush (Online)
These are gorgeous palette’s and I will be doing a proper review of them individually some time soon on the blog so watch this space!
Debenhams… 1st November was a very busy day for debenhamsn just because The Benefit Advent Calendar was available in store to pick up for those who has put their names down! I was one of those people!! Can you sense my excitement? I was being an absolute gem of a friend and picked up Emma’s calendar too since she had to work all day! Can I just say these calendars are HUGE! They were sold out in 37 Seconds online so if you managed to get one you were extremely lucky! I cannot wait to show you all what’s inside my calendar on a day to day basis, I’m still wondering whether I should do six posts with four days in or blog every day for twenty-four days? Decisions Decisions…
Whilst I was in Debenhams I picked up another little beauty… The Miniature Skincare Set by Benefit. These are adorable and I love a good miniature. This is the perfect way to sample Benefit’s skincare range without having to pay the full prices for each one. I’m already a lover of their It’s Potent Eye Cream so I can’t wait to see how I get on with the rest of there range.
Lastly a purchase from Cohorted. I had seen that they were putting up the Real Techniques Core Collection with a massive 39% discount! This collection normally retails at £21.99, so you can imagine my happiness when I got it for £13.50 through cohorted. I’m slowly growing my brush collection and now I need to find a pretty brush holder.
Can you tell that I’m a shop-a-holic yet? Watch out on my blog for individual reviews!
