I seriously do not know where this year is going! It’s the fourth #30DaysTested and I am a little overwhelmed if I must be honest! I feel like my life is flying by my eyes!
The third #30DaysTested in 2015! Time is really going too quick this year. This month I was super excited about the product I chose as I love doing my nails I’m always filing them or painting them weird and wonderful colours! This month I chose to use the L’Oreal Paris Manicure Serum 7-in-1 Saviour. The job I do really prevents me having gorgeous strong nails so this nail treatment had to work! I was praying to the sky literally. Is it only me who suffers with dry, brittle, damaged nails? I can’t work out whether it’s because my nails are long or I simply don’t have enough calcium in my system to make my nails gorgeous all by themselves. L’Oreal claim that the Manicure Serum 7-in-1 Saviour will make nails stronger, reinforced, re-surfaced, less split, less brittle, less peeled and less ridged. I was slightly sceptical as I have used many nail treatments before but I gave it thirty days to test out! My verdict? My nails are heaps stronger, they no longer chip or peel they have a smooth surface and are all over looking fabulous even with the excessive amounts of alcohol hand sanitizer I use. This is one of those products that totally does what it says on the tin! A little goes a long way and my nails have never been in better condition. I am super happy with my nails at the moment especially as I have always had long nails but they have chipped and peeled because of the condition of them! Now they are healthy and strong and I actually got asked if they were my own nails or acrylics the other day! This is available in boots for £5.99 which is an absolute bargain! Make sure you pick this up next time your browsing boots and let me know if you think it’s as awesome as I do!
Also have you seen my Sensationail Review post? I would have loved to keep it for this months #30DaysTested post but I loved it so much I couldn’t wait to get it up! So there you have it my amazing nail treatment and also a cheeky link into my current favourite polish too!
Can not believe it is the end of February! This year is going way to quick! It’s the end of the month though so that means another review of a product I have been using all month! This month it’s all about hand cream and the product I have chosen is the Figs and Rouge Mango and Mandarin Shea Butter Hand Cream. I first discovered this product when it was a sample in one of my glossybox’s from last year.
I immediately fell in love with the product and went on to buy the full sized product for my boyfriend which he also adores. I absolutely love the packaging of this product, its fresh new design actually makes me want to pick up the product and use it as it’s very eye-catching in my skincare/makeup bag. Whereas a normal hand cream with a plain logo would sit in a draw/bag or on a shelf for months without being touched. Packaging is the first thing a customer see’s when purchasing a product so I think it’s good to have something eye-catching. Figs and Rouge are 100% pure and natural which is a bonus.
In these cold winter months my hands do suffer, I don’t do a manual job but I have been suffering with callous’ on my hands. Hand cream has been an essential. The Figs and Rouge Mango and Mandarin Shea Butter Hand Cream has been an absolute life saver. It’s one of those products that does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s moisturising properties are exceptionally good. My hands have never felt smoother or softer. This product also smells gorgeous! It has a citrus scent which I find smells amazing. I cannot recommend this product enough and I have really enjoyed using it. Some creams can leave a residue on this skin but not this product. It sinks into the skin within seconds which makes it all the more easier to use. I have loved using this product this month and my boyfriend is a lover of it also (great for me when he gives my shoulders a massage to relieve the pressure, he now has silky smooth hands instead of rough scratchy ones) BONUS.
I would definitely recommend buying this product if you are looking for a new hand cream. This particular one is no longer available on the brands website but it can be purchased from Feel Unique, in both 20ml and 80ml. This particular hand cream retails at £3.95 for 20ml and £7.95 for 80ml.
Have you tried anything from Figs and Rouge?
It’s the end of January where is the time going? I’m Taking part in #30DaysTested which has been created by Gemma. Personally I think it’s a fantastic idea, throughout 2014 especially after I started my blog I found myself buying a product using it for a week then using something different. That way I never got to see the full benefits of the product I was using such as an Eye Cream etc… Plus throughout 2014 I never had a proper skincare routine, I would moisturise when I remembered and I would cleanse daily but with all different products. My new Years resolutions were to be more organised which means a proper skincare routine every day, morning and night!
So the month of January is about Lip Balms! I have used this lip balm all month and I am super impressed. I always get chapped lips throughout the colder months and this product has been a life saver! Plus I absolutely adore the smell and taste of this lip balm. So I’m talking about the Sephora Kiss Me Balm in 005 Candy Apple! I received this as my secret santa who wasn’t so secret which is some of you may know as my lovely friend Emma who blogs at Dino’s Beauty Diary. I was super thrilled with this along with the other stuff she got me. Thank-You Emma!
So I went on to the Sephora site because I wanted to know what the brand ‘claimed’ this does for our lovely lips and this is what I found:
After wearing this all month every day of the month I didn’t once have dry chapped lips… that’s right not once! I love the scent of this lip balm and I can’t put my finger on what it smells like but it smells and tastes lovely… I shouldn’t really be licking it off my lips but it tastes so sweet its hard not too… It’s like the urge you get when you have sugar on your lips from a donut you know? hard to resist. It leaves the lips with a slight tint of red which isn’t too pigmented which is good because of it being a lip balm.
I would agree that it is creamy and comfortable and it really hydrates my lips. The first day of using this my lips were so dry and within minutes of applying they looked a lot more moisturised. I love the dome shape applicator too. I have tried EOS Lip Balms and I would say that this lip balm hydrates my lips better than an EOS balm. Thumbs up for Sephora!
I have really enjoyed using this and when I run out it will be like the world has come to an end. I will have to re-purchase a back up just so I don’t run out too soon. My recommendation is definitely to purchase this is your looking for a good lip balm!
So that’s my January #30DaysTested, Next month I will be telling you all about the Hand Cream I’ll have been loving/not loving.
