Of course, the area is known for its amazing beaches such as Baga and Palolem which are amazing to relax on and catch some rays. Complete a road trip from Manali to Leh
A lot of people look back with regret at not doing a road trip during their gap year in India as they are truly something special. After all, a road trip from areas such as Manali to Leh offers you incredible scenery and breathtaking views. You can hire a car and drive down the 478 KM road where you will see stunning picturesque mountains. You can also visit great villages such as Jispa while you are on your travels. If you are going to travel Manali to Leh by road, make sure you research online first so that you don’t get lost!
Walk across the Great Wall of India
Of course, we have all heard of the Great Wall of China. But a lot of people regret not heading down the Great Wall of India while they are in the fantastic country during their gap year. The wall surrounds an ancient fort that contains over 300 temples! It runs 36 kilometers around the fort, making it the second longest in the world. Therefore, you need some great walking shoes if you plan to visit it for your gap year!
Go for a dip at Sangam
A lot of people have never heard of the site of Sangam in India. But it’s a place of healing which has been visited by people around the world. It’s where three rivers meet, and people head there to wash away their sins. Therefore, you should go there during your gap year if you fancy being cleansed! As this article says, a dip in Sangam will refresh your mind, body, and soul so it’s worth a visit!
And don’t forget to try snorkeling with an elephant in Andaman! You can take a tour with Rajan the elephant to enjoy the marine life on the island!
