When someone mentions colourpop the first emoji I would use would the the heart eyed face. I mean seriously how can someone lust over a brand so much? I now have the answer to that question of mine and it’s all thanks to Hannah! Thanks to me reading Hannah’s post about getting colourpop over here in the UK I successfully made my first colourpop order and I am here today to show you what I brought for all under £25!
Have you ever placed an order and obsessively checked to see where your package was more than once a day? That was exactly what I was like when I was waiting for my Colourpop order to come. I literally hugged my postman too when it did come! Sorry Postman!
In this order I played it safe and brought two lippie stix (just in case I didn’t like the formula), I brought one blush and one highlighter and I also brought two eyeshadows.
Lippie Stix in Tiger and Lumiere
Okay, so I have legit never used a lip product that has made me feel the way these Lippie Stix do. They are buttery, they are creamy, they are moisturising and the smell great too! The two I brought were Tiger (Left Swatch Above) and Lumiere (Right Swatch Above). Lumiere has legit become one of my everyday lip colours. It was made by Kathleen Lights but that wasn’t the reason I brought it (Even though I do love watching Kathleen Lights on the old youtube). These are both absolutely gorgeous colours and I think they are both perfect for the fall/winter.
Eyeshadows – La La and Cop a Feel
On to eyeshadows! (I confess I got a little but too carried away and swatched Cop-a-feel a bit too heavy, sorry!). I do actually find these hard to blend out, I’m not sure whether its me or the eyeshadow. But they are very pigmented and look beautiful on the eyes! I absolutely love these and will definitely be ordering more. I may just have to work on my blending skills though! Out of these two shadows La La is definitely my favourite! It’s such a warm shade and coppery shade that makes it perfect for the outer corner of the eye and Cop a Feel is definitely a good base shade!
Blush in Prenup
This blush is absolutely gorgeous and has made its way into my top five blushes that I own! I don’t reach for this often enough in all honesty. The product itself is creamy and easy to blend into the cheeks and looks absolutely stunning. I can not wait to buy more of these!
Highlighter in Spoon
This highlighter is the product that surprised me the most, its creamy and buttery and blends beautiful on the skin. This is a gorgeous champagne gold colour and looks beautiful on fair skin. It is however too glittery for my liking so I don’t reach for it as much but I definitely will be buying more highlighters from colourpop but I’ll make sure I read up on reviews first!
That’s that for my first ever colourpop haul… I already have another order on the way and I am super excited for it to arrive!
Have you tried anything from Colourpop?
