I can’t believe how quick this year is going by already! I thought giving you my thoughts on this months Birchbox was the perfect way to round off a week! I went to see 50 Shades of Grey on Friday but I won’t give you my verdict of the film just yet in case you haven’t seen it. I’ve had a lot of quality time with my boyfriend too which has been nice.
This month’s Birchbox is all about love, durr it’s february it’s obvious! My first impressions of this box that it was weighty, so my eyes lit up and I couldn’t open the package fast enough. This month it’s in the standard cardboard boxing with a special sneak preview of next months box which involved Benefit ooooooo. I absolutely love the cards that are included in the Birchbox every month and this month it shows information about coconut oil and what it’s used for and also birchbox’s favourite products perfect for a date night. How cute! Don’t you just love valentines?
This month I received:
• London Butterflies Whipped Body Cream in Winter Jasmine and Starflower with Sweet Almond Oil – £37 for 170ml. Sample Size 30ml Received.
• theBalm Cosmetics Staniac in Beauty Queen – £10
• Wild about Beauty Golden Skin Glow – £21 for 30ml. This is a full sized product.
• Agave Healing Oil Treatment – From £16-£27.
• Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum – £45 for 30ml. 10ml sample received.
• Vita Coco Coconut Oil – £10 for 500ml.
I am so impressed with this box, with the Wild about Beauty Golden Skin Glow alone you already have your money back from the box plus more! I love every product in this box and I think coconut oil is something every beauty lover should have it’s such a multi-use product that it would be a sin not to have it. I personally love using it to take off my makeup especially my eye make-up because not only does it remove my eye makeup beautifully it also conditions my lashes.
I cannot fault this months box and why am I only just hearing about Benefit’s Lemon Aid, is this a new product or have I been oblivious for months? I have never seen it at a Benefit Counter… please correct me!!
I am already working on my individual reviews from this month’s box because I am so impressed. Seriously so impressed! Birchbox definitely have their work cut out to get on top of this box in my eyes next month, they have never disappointed as yet so I’m sure they will wow me with whatever they put together!
