We’re already mid way into December already, I really have no idea where time is going! So it’s time for my monthly Birchbox and trust me I was super excited when this arrived. This month I hadn’t seen any spoilers at all which made it all the more exciting and to make my day the post man delivered this to me on my day off while I was poorly in bed. Result.
This month’s Birchbox is all about ‘Put on Your Party Shoes’ its a collaboration with the designer Sophia Webster and with looking at the box I would say she’s a pretty good designer! I absolutely love the design of this box. It really is a festive box and makes the month feel a whole lot more Christmassy for me!
The first thing that I had my pretty green eyes on was the Exclusive to Birchbox Sophia Webster Coin Purse which was tucked inside the little birchbox box. I’m not an animal print kind of girl but I really like this, I can see myself getting a lot of use out of it too, maybe in my handbag guarding my fave lipsticks/balms in-case of that lip emergency, I can’t see myself using it as a coin purse personally.
The next thing I pulled from the box was the Trilogy Organic Rosehip Oil. This looks so cute in its dropper bottle, this oil claims to restore and maintain healthy, radiant skin. It also claims that it can help minimise the appearance of wrinkles by 23% and help skins moisture levels up to 44%. This is for all skin types excluding oily or acneic. So really it isn’t for all skin types at all, weird. Personally I won’t be trying this product as I fall into both the excluding categories. But I’ll get my step-mum to try it and see if she can see a difference on wrinkles not that she has any of course.
The next thing I had come across was the Electric Hairdressing London Hydrating Shampoo who doesn’t use shampoo right? I always appreciate the little shampoo bottles because they are always handy when your going away to throw one in a bag and not have to take your full bottle. I have a little collection of miniature shampoo and conditioners in my ‘beauty cupboard’ in my room which is looking pretty impressive.
Next up was the llcsi Grape Stem Cell Gel Mask, This is a hydrating gel mask which is supposed rejuvenate, refresh and tone the skin. This product is suitable for superficial and deep layer water deficient skin and for wrinkled skin. I’m intrigued to see how this works on the skin.
I actually already knew about this product as I got to pick my shade! I got the Models Own Polish in the shade Sardonyx Its a gorgeous glittery red and perfect for the festive season. I love the consistency of Models Own Polishes so I already know I’m going to love this product!
Last but not least is the Eyeko London Fat Eye Stick in Smoke. This has intrigued me because I’m awful at eyeshadow but I am learning to perfect my skills! So this seems easy and simple to use but whether it will be or not is another question.
Overall I loved this months Birchbox, I can see me using most of these products! I absolutely love the design too! Do you subscribe to Birchbox? What was your favourite product from this months box?
