Is it only me who gets extremely excited over Makeup Revolution? This palette is gorgeous in every way! Today I have two reasons to be excited one because I will be showing off my cheeks with this palette tonight and the other reason is that I’m seeing Lee Evans Live in Cardiff tonight with the boyfriend and I’m so excited! It’s a shame that he is retiring from comedy though but family does come first and all that so he has definitely made the right choice! I can see his DVD’s rocketing in price now! Anyway on to the main subject…
The Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palette in Golden Sugar! I bought this online after I starred at the screen for a good ten minutes admiring the shades. I have recently got into my blusher thanks to the Benefit’s Majorette. Before that launched I wouldn’t dare wear blusher. I’ve always been a bronzer girl through and through. So now I’m a big blusher girl absolutely love blusher, powder, cream, liquid you name it I probably love it. After seeing this online I knew I needed this palette. The shades are so me. There is a range of blusher and bronzer within this palette which is great.
These shades are so gorgeous and I can’t wait to start wearing them! I may need to invest in more makeup brushes so I can have one especially just for this palette… This palette retails for £6 online which is amazing value I think as you get eight blushes! They are all powder form which is really nice! They don’t have much product float off into the air either which has gained this palette brownie points for me as I don’t like seeing powder fly off the palette as it’s less for me to use! booooo!
Myself personally I will be using the first shade on the top row as a highlighter as it gives the skin a gorgeous shimmer. I love how these shades aren’t in your face pigmented as I don’t like super pink cheeks but you have to admit they are gorgeous shades. So gorgeous I was scared to swatch this palette because I didn’t want to ruin it. I love how some of these brushes are marbelled, they are absolutely gorgeous and slightly remind me of the hourglass ambient lighting blush palette with all the marble and that! I reckon the last two shades on the right of each row will be great for contouring too so really this blush palette has more than one use which to me is great!
One thing I wish this palette had was shade names for each shade as I would love to buy the shades on there own! Makeup Rev I hope your taking notes! I definitely need to invest in some more Makeup Revolution palettes maybe an eye palette next, any recommendations please do leave a comment telling me!
I can see myself getting lots of use out of this beautiful palette, what’s your favourite Makeup Revolution product?
