Another month another Glossybox. It’s no secret that I that I haven’t been impressed with Glossybox as of late. There boxes haven’t been exciting me of lately, products haven’t suited me in the slightest. I’ve had products missing from boxes and when I’ve emailed had no reply. This box was surprisingly okay. I can’t say I was mega excited about receiving this box because I wasn’t. I wasn’t hugely disappointed with the box either. This month’s Glossybox is all about… well actually I don’t know. There isn’t a theme to the box and the product card that comes with each box simply says ‘November 2014’. Slightly boring as this month’s Birchbox was all about keeping cosy with it being bonfire night this month. I prefer the boxes when they have a theme it makes them more interesting. Oh well…
In my November box I received:
Lollipops Makeup Eye Pencil in 701 Goodbye Moon one size – RRP 14 euro
Burt’s Bees Lip Shine in Flutter (040) one size – RRP £6.99
H20+ Face Oasis(tm) Hydrating Treatment 8ml sample – RRP £27.50 for 50ml
MONU Skincare Refining Capri Facial Oil 30ml sample – RRP £26.00 for 100ml
Umberto Giannini Miracle Worker 125ml (full size) – RRP £8.00
Some products in this box I will never use such as the Refining Capri Facial Oil. This isn’t a product which would suit me. Even though this is me judging the product by the cover as I have never used a facial oil, but I have combination skin. I get so oily around my nose and chin and my forehead is relatively dry. So how could a facial oil help my oiliness? I have no idea.
Some of the products in the box I absolutely love! These are such things as the Lip shine, and the Miracle Worker. I can have really frizzy hair when I first dry my hair after showering. So hopefully this may be exactly the product I need in my life. We all know my love of lip products so I was obviously going to love the Lip Shine from Burt’s Bees.
The products that I am unsure about is the Eye Pencil and the Hydrating Treatment. I don’t often wear eyeliner so maybe I will wear this maybe I wont. The hydrating treatment is the product I’ve never heard anything of which is the whole point of subscribing to glossybox to be introduced to new products so I may use this to see how well it works but we shall see. If I do use products from this box I will most likely review them at some point.
